(01) — TOOLS
HEX, RGB, CMYK.
One hue, three writings. CMYK is the usual web model (not a press profile). Nothing is sent.
At a glance
- HEX ↔ RGB ↔ CMYK converter, free, in the browser.
- Naive CMYK: K = 1 − max(R,G,B). Not an ICC / FOGRA profile.
- Short #RGB accepted. Preview and HEX copy.
- Nothing is sent to a server.
(02) — FORMULAS
Three alphabets for one hue.
01 — HEX
#RRGGBB, or short #RGB. Each pair is a 00–FF byte.
02 — RGB
Red, green, blue from 0 to 255. Screen space.
03 — CMYK
K = 1 − max(R,G,B); C, M, Y follow. Fine for a print ballpark, not a proof.
(03) — FAQ
Short answers.
- Is this a press profile?
- No. CMYK uses the naive web formula, no ICC. A printer will use FOGRA or similar.
- Is short #RGB accepted?
- Yes. #0f0 becomes #00ff00.
- Is anything sent to a server?
- No. It stays in the tab.
